Start with a good base.

Add a little of this, a little of that, mix it all together, and throw it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes, or in the camera at f5.6 for 1/160th.

When you think about it, photography is a lot like cooking.

Sometimes you follow a recipe to a T. Sometimes you just wing it.
